Robertson

Robertson County is a county located in the U.S. Commonwealth of Kentucky. As of the 2010 census, the population was 2,282. Its county seat is Mount Olivet, Kentucky. The county is named for George Robertson, a Kentucky Congressman from 1817 to 1821. Robertson is a prohibition or dry county. It is the smallest county by both population and total area in Kentucky. The median income for a household in the county was $30,581, and the median income for a family was $35,521. Males had a median income of $27,656 versus $20,476 for females. The per capita income for the county was $13,404. About 17.50% of families and 22.20% of the population were below the poverty line, including 30.30% of those under age 18 and 24.10% of those age 65 or over.
